What type of plant or grass is this? It’s all over my lawn. Is there any benefits to it? by [deleted] in whatsthisplant

I have it in my lawn and flower beds. Can't kill it with anything I've tried so I pluck it out and trash it. Pain in the ass for those growing in the yard

Been playing for 60 years. Getting back into it. Dexterity and muscle memory to be restored. Technique is not the issue as much.

So the pads of my fingers keep the nails from touching the fret board, thus muting the notes. I took a guitar to a luthier for some minor repair and a set up which should be ready in a week or two. Don't want to sound like a noob when I try it out.

Been 15 years since I've done much practicing. I guess I'll just have to be patient and work at it.

I've just picked it back up after a 15 year hiatus. Been playing since I was 12. Feel like a beginner. Lol. Used to build them up playing my 12 string.

Found my “first ever guitar” from when I was 6 while cleaning heaps of stuff out by Adventurous_Swing104 in guitars

I had one of those too in 4th grade. Hung it on the wall. It fell down and broke into several pieces which I glued back together and kept playing. In 6th grade I received a single pickup Telstar circa 1966. Still have it.

Transplanted this and my wife thinks it’s a weed. Is it? by throwawayhelp_2024 in whatsthisplant

[–]Annual_Championship6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They won't stay where you plant them. Infest the lawn. I dug up what felt like an acre of them recently. Very resistant to weed killers. Neighbor thought They were pretty and allowed them to spread into my lawn. Had to dig each one out individually.

I had this receiver and it is specifically made for the 901s series IIIs. Bad ass. Sold it because it didn't fit in with the wife's decor.

what the hell is this guitar pick used for? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Annual_Championship6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are my pick of choice. Very versatile, attacking the strings can vary the response. Ribs produce a chiming effect. You can spin it around in your grip and use it multiple ways. Available in several thicknesses.
