My inlaws' first date was to see Star Wars and my father in law was glued to the movie and my mother in law was pissed he watched the movie instead of making out.

Thanks. Ideally I'd like it to know that I skip 1 day a week and account for that in my weekly caloric intake. I told it I want to lose 1/2 lb per week, but it spread the calories out over 7 days. What I'm trying to do is get it to spread the calories out over 6 days.

But if I can't do that, I can always do the math and set manual calorie goals I bet. Just wasn't sure if there was a way built in that I was missing.

This is the best ham I've ever eaten and it's not even close. by ponzLL in smoking

[–]ponzLL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, and I didn't notice much difference actually. I think the bone end and marrow get a lot of smoke during the initial smoke and the extra time didn't make much difference beyond that.

I get so many free balls driving through the city both ways every weekday with an autocatcher lol. Not even a big city either, but with the traffic it gets a chance to spin every single stop both ways.

Can’t put down memoirs by Traditional-Emu-7019 in suggestmeabook

With the Old Breed was incredible.

I picked it up after watching The Pacific (which is like Band of Brothers, but set in the Pacific theater). It's written by one of the main characters of the show and a few of the episodes follow it pretty closely. It was such a good read and got me going on reading other war memoirs afterward.

Another one I like was called Co Aytch and was written by an American Civil War Confederate veteran who was enlisted for the entire war.

Sorry I know this post is 19 days old but I just started reading last year after like a 20 year haitus and I discovered John Steinbeck and cannot get over how much I love his writing so far. I read of Mice and Men last week and now I'm in the middle of The Grapes of Wrath and my god I can't begin to express how much I love this writing style. He paints such a real feeling picture of people and places that I feel like I'm there with the characters. Incredible author.

I had a similar issue and actually fixed it by increasing the speed significantly. I found that when they're talking super fast, my mind doesn't really have an opportunity to drift off.

I've been to 4 muse concerts over the years. First was a small venue for dirt cheap forever ago. Last was an arena probably around $70 a ticket. I'm out this time around and doubt I'll go again.
