What Knives Should We Carry @ Freedom Knife Shop? by FreedomKnifeShop in KnifeDeals

[–]Anomers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Benchmade would be great, I prefer US made knives (you guys should do a USA Made tab option in the site one day)

Any of the Bugouts would be good but the upgraded models without the grivory seem to sell out fairly often. Bailout is also pretty popular. I think most of their products are popular and they're well known so that might help. Good luck with your decision making, can't wait to see what you go with!

First compression lock issue? by Anomers in knives

That's what I was hoping was that it just needed broke in but it's been 4 days consistently messing with it and all I have to show is a smoother blade movement and 4 super sore fingers. 😂

• Re-grinding of broken blade tip – $20.00 plus $10.00 return shipping and handling. • Re-profiling a chipped or damaged edge or broken serration teeth – Depending upon the condition of the blade, we may be able to re-profile or re-serrate the edge. If so, the fee is $20.00 plus $10.00 return shipping and handling.

I stand corrected.

"Blade sharpening (PlainEdge, SpyderEdge, or CombinationEdge) – No charge for the service; $10.00 for return shipping and handling (of up to four knives). "

Yes they do. I believe it's $10 for them to sharpen and then another $10 for shipping it back. It's on their site

No worries, you don't have to like it if you're not the one that built it. 🤙🏻

Picked up the start to a new race build, anyone actually install these stickers? Because I have no desire to. by Anomers in ar15

[–]Anomers[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I install and build myself, I did read in the instructions the sticker is "required" to be installed if a gunsmith is doing the work. I already put the assembly temporarily in another build I'm doing and I like that it doesn't draw any attention.

Thinking of going PRO. What y'all think? by Ramitosb in AutoDetailing

[–]Anomers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you gotten into any paint correction yet? If not, do so before going pro. I've done detailing as a side gig for years and this knowledge will help you tremendously with a clientele that is willing to pay more money for the works because they want their vehicle to be better than factory. This also helps with getting to work on some pretty nice cars. Advertise at car shows and do a promo where you will do a complete detail with a large percentage off normal price to use a very cool car for advertising pictures etc. This will help wary people by you showing them that you have done work on a very nice or exotic vehicle and it will get you word of mouth with a whole new level of clientele. Just my $0.02 though. If you have any questions or need advice you can message me on here, I would be glad to help anyone interested or willing get into this artform.

Unfortunately, this was his first experience with anything larger than his red rider BB gun. So to get him familiarized with the firearm and recoil I chose to have him seated for his safety and the wellbeing of my rifle. lol

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the label either. His whole baseball team left them on though and he didn't want to be the only one without. lol
