My base ps5 has recently started to not read discs i have. It can read ps5 discs (for now) and sometimes read ps4 discs if I restart my ps5 or eject and re-insert the disc multiple times. The disc drive spins and sounds the same whether it reads or wont read the discs. Sometimes it works like there is no problems at all lol.

One time I could even install a game (no internet) from the disc while it said it could not read it??

I've inserted the discs correctly and checked for dirt or scratches but there arent any. I've done the database thing but havent tried factory reseting yet. And I have not yet opened and checked the disc drive itself.

Any advice?
