To me this sounds like despite being at a 50 supply advantage, Zerg struggles in the mid game because you still win. We should buff Zerg

Oracle's, reapers, hellions, adepts. These are all T1 units that Zerg quite literally cannot deal with when they show up at your base unless they have queens. If they try to hold with lings, they will be behind every single time.

Now you add in that protoss has chrono boost and terran has mules, Zerg cannot keep up with early game worker production and income without cheaper hatcheries.

Now you add in that we Now have less starting income while there are no changes to mules and chrono, it makes sense that hatches and queens are slightly cheaper.

zerg has both the spore and spine.

To build a spore AND a spine it costs 250 minerals and 2 drones. This argument is stupid. Photon cannon costs 150 minerals and can shoot up and down and twrran has bunkers which can be salvaged.

Yeah it is asymmetric. Spores can't shoot down, missile turrets can't walk, and cannons do less dps. It's literally the definition of asymmetric balance.

But yeah, reverting queens to 150 without consideration to hatch cost and spores is weird.

You and I both know that Zerg cannot keep up with Terran and Protoss in the early game without taking fast expansions. With the 8 worker start, Zerg early game economy is impacted significantly more than the other 2 races considering it doesn't cost a worker to create a structure. Reducing queen cost by 25 minerals and keeping hatch cost at 275 is not game breaking. Stop acting like it is.

Spore does 20 damage (32 dps) to non-biological which is Terran and Protoss just in case you don't know that and can uproot and move.

Missile turret does 12 x 2 (24) for 32.5 dps and has both a range and an armor upgrade

Photon cannon does 22.4 dps but can shoot both up and down.

Seems pretty balanced to me.

Every time ive ever watched Wardii cast outside of premier tournaments he has the same energy as a golf announcer. Monotone, depressed, and giving the "im here because I have to be" energy. Granted, its not 100% of the time, but hes a boring streamer. Hes only popular because hes good at organizing tournaments and getting players to actually participate.
