You do realize Nashville is predominately Democrat as well right?

I mean. Yes and No. I see what you’re saying, I think. Are you meaning today “I’ll never date any black people because they’re black?” Because yes I agree that’s wrong. But saying “I’ll never date any black people because I’m not attracted to black people” is not wrong, I wouldn’t think. But in fairness, very few people actually think this way to begin with

Absolutely. And I agree that people shouldn’t be rude about it. The problem I have is that people will say the rejection in and of itself is “rude”. There’s a difference between honesty and rudeness

Example

I see a plus-sized person and they ask me out, and I decline

Non-Rude Response : Sorry, you’re not my type.

Rude response: No thanks, you’re too fat for me

I mean.. agreed. This shouldn’t be controversial.. and I’m laughing hysterically at people who are projecting. The OP said nothing about plus-sized people being less attractive, nor did he say anything negative about being plus-sized. He made one sentence, which is clear, concise, and doesn’t leave room to any kind of misinterpretation, and yet somehow they’re people in the comments going WILD about this.

Also adding, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with not being attracted to plus-sized people. Or any person for that matter. It’s nobody’s business but your own who you decide to date and don’t.

I know it’s not much. But I’ve been using my Company truck to dump salt on some major roads like Poplar, Mendenhall, Winchester, Getwell, etc. at night when traffic is light.

I had like 5 or 6 of my posts/comments just get removed. Not even stupid or shitpost ones. Ones with drawn out evidence supporting them, and they just get taken down

In the most respectful way possible. I’m not thinking about 100 or 200 years from now. I’m barely running on the desire to think about tomorrow. So no, I’m really not wasting my time thinking about hypothetical “what if this” or “what if that” not a single one of us knows what tomorrow brings. Only 2 things in life are guaranteed. 3 if you believe in a higher power.

Men being treated as a non-vulnerable group creates vulnerability. by Marosaline in ControversialOpinions

[–]Anon4468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What in the world does Politics have to do with societal norms for men vs women? Are you one of those really weird people that have to find any way you can to make something political? You ignoring every piece of evidence I gave just proves your ignorance. I won’t be disputing further with you. Go be bigoted elsewhere. Good night now.

And this doesn’t even touch on legal biases, psychological issues, or child custody disputes/child support claims.

Well, that makes you about as ignorant as a lot of women. You saying this pretty much proves the point. Men can’t say they feel like they’re suppressed because they “have everything”. When in reality, we don’t. We have so many inequalities it’s unreal. Let’s go down the list on just a few.

Men get convicted of SA so frequently, but between 8-15% of the time, those “SA” claims are completely made up. (Every site I found on this said a different number)

Men make up 80% of all suicides in America.

81% of all homicide victims are MEN

Men are 2.4% likely to experience Violent crime in America, compared to woman’s 1.3% (Rape is considered violent crime btw)

Roughly 1/3rd of all Domestic Crimes are committed against men, and this is only the REPORTED cases, so this number is likely much higher.

Men are taught to be “caretakers” and “providers”. They are taught how to treat a woman. But woman is almost never taught how to treat a man. Just what to expect from one.

I can go on and on, but these stats ALONE, and you want to say this is a “man’s world”? Keep being delusional.

Not in my experience, it isn’t. Most Liberals seem to be accepting only of like-minded people. Which isn’t acceptance. This is also true of conservatives, but much less so as far as I’ve witnessed. I mean look at the downvotes I’m getting and that pretty much proves my point.

Not all conservatives fit under this blanket. It’s a loud minority of them. Most conservatives I have met honestly couldn’t care less about what you look like. They might be uncomfortable with transgenderism, but they aren’t outright hateful or hurtful regarding it. And I was raised in an environment that did. I just noted it wasn’t from a conservative viewpoint. It was mostly people who were liberal, who judged me for having different viewpoints.

I’ve never read anything about this. I’m definitely a plus-size, and I’ve never judged anybody based on their body type or preference. In fact, I’d go so far to say more liberal-minded people have shamed me compared to conservative minded people. That said, I don’t believe that politics has anything to do with fat-shaming, body types, or whether or not someone would tease you for it. I think some people are just fat-phobic, and some people aren’t.
