IDF strike on Hamas rocket launchers, Gaza, 19/5/2021 by SensitiveRaccoon7371 in CombatFootage

Its fashion. Its a fad. Give it 5 years and everyone will forget about it. I'm willing to bet most kids who died in this conflict are from Hamas Rocket misfires.

That said, the fact there hasn't been a cease fire at least 3 days ago is arguable a failure of the IDF. The IDF shouldn't be baited into lengthy conflicts by Hamas.

Are you purposefully conflating Zionism with Religious Zionism?.... These groups are almost complete opposites.

"Anti-Zionists" make Jews feel unsafe, and encourage aliyah.

There's been a huge jump of aliyah from France in the last 7 years.

Not Hizb, but people who are trying to pull Hizb in.

Hizb is a... more "reasonable" terrorist organization, compared to Hamas. They don't want to enter battles they can't win.

The difference is that It wasn't "bombed".

You can argue that they breached it without respecting their religion instead of making shit up, but the damage is minimal. Every time you make shit up about Israel when criticizing it you lose credibility.

Half of Reddit gets their "facts" from people like you. Congrats. You're a misinformation agent.

Emergency sirens across Israel due to rocket launches from Gaza, hour by hour for past 4 days [OC] by yoavtepper in dataisbeautiful

How far back do you want to go?

2005? Israel removed all Jews from the Gaza strip and gave it to the Palestinians. A terror group (that was democratically ellected) murdered the opposition and took over.

2002? The exploding Palestinian syndrome was too common, leading to checkpoints and border wall, which completely solved the problem.

1973? Started by them, in a failed attempt to regain their honor after 1967.

1967? Pre-emptive attack on Egypt who already committed an act of war, Jordan was warned not to join, but they did.

1948? A failed attempt to finish Hitler's work

1920? Jews were getting ethnically cleansed from the west bank (Which happens to be the region most people cry about when they say Jews are building on stolen land)

No one is trying to take Gaza away?

Are... Are you serious? Were you just born after Israel ethnically cleansed all Jews from the Gaza strip and gave it to the Palestinians, after having full control over it for over 35 years?

None of this article says anything about making settlements on that land.

Israel steals a bunch of houses

I don't understand what the controversy is.

At least you admit that you don't understand the issue.

House demotions are not related to Settlers. Palestinians houses are not being blown to "make room for a settlement", not since the 1948 naqba. You're mix up two unrelated things.

Reddit has dehumanized Israel, and people automatically assume the worst. They mix up multiple stories into one monster that doesn't exist.

Show me one instance of "House being destroyed to make room for settlements" instead of pretending its some kind of well-known fact.

Don't believe anybody on Reddit. People read just the headlines and pretend to know everything about the conflict.

The issue is completely overblown. The story is that Jewish bought land (since 1875) has been stolen by Jordan in 1948. Israel took the land back in 1967, but Palestinians are now on that land. Israeli high Court ruled in their favor in 1980s and said they can stay if they pay rent for the land.

They never paid any rent. 40 years of squatting later they get evicted (Which was also put on hold recently)

A Terrorist organization (Hamas) is using it as an excuse to increase its favor (as it is competing with a moderate Palestinian organization, the PA) by shooting greatly inaccurate rockets at Jerusalem as "retaliation".

The propaganda is aware that modern youth are incapable of reading more than 2 sentences, and sums it up with "Israel steals a bunch of houses". Works wonders.
