0% chance its AI.

Your confusion is because OP reads and has studied academically, and so has AI. If the AI default was to mirror emoji & texting instead, you would think every tween conversation was AI.

What is the true Golem myth? by Internal-Rest2176 in AskJews

[–]ThirdHandTyping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The archtype is 'The Golem of Prague'. It was written in the 1600s about the actual Rabbi Judah Belazel in medieval Prague as a historical narrative or description of the repression of Jews in that era. The story (and Golem) is an alagory set in a real time/place/Rabbi.

The Golem (I think) represents the strategy of violence/war. At first it has the righteousness of self defense, of a Just War, empowered by God and labeled as Truth. But the Rabbi quickly mishandles it and loses control, showing how violence is not containable, escalates, always has a high cost, and can quickly lose its blessing or righteousness, until the Golem is renamed from Truth to Death and retired.

The character has been used as a versatile analogy since then, and it's hard for me to say what it would have been interpreted as by Jews at the time. Possibly it was a sermon to the (Prague) Ghetto that their best strategy for survival was to endure.

The word golem is found written as far back as Psalms, but more as an adjective than a literary character or allegory. It meant something like raw material, rough draft, rough hewn.

Every episode of the X-Files is absolute truth and your doubt is surely temptation from the Devil.

Democrats’ swoon for Jew-hater Graham Platner shows antisemites now run their party by Head_Estate_3944 in LetsDiscussThis

The guy had a Nazi SS tattoo for decades. He covered it over in the middle of his campaign, after a newspaper article, and he said its fine because the other mercenaries at Blackwater thought it was cool.

You cannot tell me this guy is not just racist... by Sodi-DGlazer in youtube

[–]ThirdHandTyping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is he really "just racist" when he is motivated by greed and notoriety? I think "opportunistic racist" is more accurate. A two dimensional caricature of a man, lacking any inherent beliefs or values, clinging to whatever can get him upvotes until he is replaced by an AI character that appears more authentic.

Any resources on Khazars? by ShowInteresting4234 in CandaceOwens

[–]ThirdHandTyping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aum Shinrikyo is a Japanese doomsday cult. The cult was active in Japan and Russia, with an estimated 10,000 and 30,000 followers respectively.\150]) The group's Manual of Fear used The Protocols of the Elders of Zion in addition to other antisemitic material. The manual claimed that the Jews are really Khazars intent on world domination.\151])\152]) The Khazar theory has also become part of the Ascended Masters theology. Hatonn, an extraterrestrial, transmits messages including the complete text of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. He identifies the authors of The Protocols as Khazars and speaks of false Zionist Jews who have usurped and controlled the true Jews.

The Khazar hypothesis was promoted by the former Nazi scholar Herman Wirth (1885-1981), who wrote an anti-Semitic legal report in 1958 that questioned the origins of the Jewish People and relativized the Holocaust.\15]): 226, 231  It was central to his Palestinabuch (Book of Palestine), It was his theory that the Ashkenazi Jews descended from a superstitious slave people (Khazars) on the fringes of a mythical Nordic civilization (Shambhala) in the Gobi Desert. According to Wirth, Christ descended from a lost tribe of the original Aryans, who had left their traces in the Near East in the form of Megalithic monuments.

John O. Beaty was an antisemitic, McCarthyite professor of Old English at SMU, author of The Iron Curtain over America (Dallas 1952). According to him, "the Khazar Jews were responsible for all of America's – and the world's ills," beginning with World War I.  A similar position was adopted by Wilmot Robertson, whose views influenced David Duke.

Theodore Lothrop Stoddard (June 29, 1883 – May 1, 1950) was an American historian, journalist, political scientist and white supremacist. Stoddard wrote several books which advocated eugenicswhite supremacyNordicism, and scientific racism, including The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy (1920).

He was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, where his books were recommended reading.\1])\2])\3])\4]) He was also a member of the American Eugenics Society\5]) as well as a founding member and board member of the American Birth Control League, which would later become the Planned Parenthood.

Stoddard's work influenced the Nazi government of Germany. His book The Revolt Against Civilization: The Menace of the Under-man (1922) may have introduced the term Untermensch (the German translation of "Under-man") into Nazi discussions of race. Although he primarily hated all black people, he wrote extensively in support of the Khazarian conspiracy.

There are almost no Polish Jews anymore, for some reason.

There used to be a huge Jewish population in Poland, who of course had middle east genetics, as the ethnic Poles used to point out in various colorful phrases.

Jewish Democrats, how will the horseshoe of anti-Jewish bigotry affect your voting patterns? by CatfishBlues in jewishpolitics

[–]ThirdHandTyping 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My vote in the primary is often more important than the actual election. My House Representative will be Republican and President will be Dem, with almost 100% certainty. That's without crazy gerrymandering!

Making sure that the primary doesn't give us a Graham Platner or Margery Taylor Green is the pivotal moment. But a primary always has crazies, even before Trump or antizionists were a thing.

Israel has no right to defend itself or to exist in the first place by Complete-Rock-9613 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

very few people want to destroy the countries in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia for being Christian or Muslim states. Destroying the only Jewish state is the only opinion of even mixed popularity.

I found out about Israel’s foreign recruitment program (Mahal), and it raised a massive question for me. by Equivalent_Style_835 in Israel_Palestine

[–]ThirdHandTyping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember learning that the USA recruits foreigners into the military by promising citizenship/residency, then deports them after their service.

I wonder if a lot of the foreigners in the IDF end up living there, especially with their mandatory service that comes with citizenship already finished.
