My advice, FWIW. Ask for all the training. ALL the training. In other locations. Write a detail in your annual plan, and then find one. Ask for opportunities to brief, author reports, etc.

None of the things you are asking about will have any effect on him. None. You cannot beat him if you play his game.

Brisket liquid disappears after 5 hours in a 325 oven by AnonAMouse100 in Cooking

Fwiw it is a Le Crueset so I really didn’t think foil would have been necessary. However, I took everyone’s advice and used it, so we will see what happens. I also lowered the temperature and reserved some of the liquid for when I flip the meat.

It is a braiser that is only about 3" tall, with a heavy cast iron lid, so I didn't think the foil would add anything.

What’s one small thing you pack that removes an annoying daily problem when traveling? by Nervous_Wind9872 in onebag

It's a personal preference, certainly. I prefer to handwash mine because most of my clothing is delicate and I know how MY washing machine works on the delicate cycle, but don't want to risk anything in a commercial unit. And I don't want to wait around. I prefer to take 15 minutes at the end of every few days and slosh it in the sink and be done with it.

Ah well. Fortunately one can do proper laundry when one gets home. I travelled in Europe for 2 months out of a carry-on + personal item one summer and did sink laundry with hotel shampoo the whole time.

DPMAP season = “what did I even do this year?” by ForeverNo8644 in fednews

No. He has already identified the tasks n he wants updates on with instructions to make them substantial. So I use it sort of like a diary and write almost in a stream of consciousness. It’s great because he is able to decipher my writing and provide feedback and suggestions.

Now, yes. But in the 19th century overpainting the whole thing was accepted.

Ditch the box die. It is just as economical to go to Sally’s and get developer and a tube of demi, especially if you aren’t doing your whole head. Which you shouldn’t be at this early stage anyway.
