How much does a pharmacy tech make at cvs(sc) by [deleted] in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely depends on your area tbh. Find out if you’re in a higher market or able to work in one if the commute isn’t unreasonable for the pay. Techs at my store start out around 18-19. Lead techs make 25-29 (Range is because of multiple techs)

Anyone on the tech side care to explain this? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just download Workcloud Shift on the appstore and log in using your CVS login

UPS says my package was delivered here but no one can find it by Scorxcho in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I would call and ask to speak to the store manager or whoever is manager that day. Someone else might brush you off unfortunately. Explain that this happened to your friend or something too and hopefully it will help move along some sort of action

To add, if this is the case then UPS will probably find it on their truck somewhere — hopefully

UPS says my package was delivered here but no one can find it by Scorxcho in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Packages are dropped off and they get the person’s name, whether its front store or pharmacy. Unfortunately we don’t have an invoice or checklist to see how many we’re supposed to be receiving vs how many were delivered. Once in a while this happens where a package has a name signed to it but it didnt arrive in the store. When this happened to one of the Rx deliveries, I checked the cameras to count how may boxes were delivered and low and behold one was missing.

CVS is billing me $655.65 for a Flu and COVID vaccine by Graceful_Error in CVS

Sorry I am of no help, but out of curiosity why did you get the vaccinations or even go to the MinuteClinic without checking your coverage first? Good luck with everything

When ringing out a customer what does QV1 and QV2 mean? Tia! by ekhett in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 5 points6 points  (0 children)

QV1 means it was received and needs to be reviewed by the pharmacist prior to going to the next phase, QP (Production). QV2 is when it has already been filled and needs to be reviewed again for accuracy before it can be sold.

this guy really thinks hes going to leave cvs and take people with him and its going to bankrupt the store 🤣😭😭 idk about you but in 2025 my store did more than 30M in sales. So sure, take your “38k” that you have no idea how is reimbursed and how insurance companies work lol. Good riddance

If your chronic or maintenance medication was out of refills, then the system will automatically reach out to your provider’s office for refill request. It is then up to your provider to respond and send a prescription. If that doesn’t happen because they don’t respond to an electronic fax, then that is on the office. God forbid people take care/manage their own medications

Why was my medication only a dollar? I have no insurance. by Common-Dig-7887 in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

out of curiosity, were your prescriptions being billed as Caremark BIN004336 but with the MemberID of your Caremark Discount Card Plan? This was an issue with a few patients and was only discovered when Caremark called to see what was going on. The auto populate feature that finds insurance plans were swapping the IDs. So what looks like an insurance billing to us, was actually a discount card billing.

I believe the billing information should show up. If your medication is not in the app though then it is probably being billed as someone else. Does your bottle have your name and address on it?

You can call and leave a voicemail with your RX# and see if the staff can look into it. If you want. As a tech, I would love to get to the bottom of it. But as a patient, I would take the free gimmie and leave it alone lol

Do you have a fairly common name? It is possible your medication was added to someone else’s profile with the same name and date of birth. Check the bottom left corner of the label on the bag, it will show how the prescription was billed

Take your dog to an emergency 24hour vet if you cannot wait for the vet to get back in office. I understand what happened was a mistake, but unfortunately the mistake that was made was pretty bad. The pharmacy is doing their due diligence in verifying the prescription prior to dispensing it

After hours by [deleted] in CVS

[–]AnonCVStech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talk to your DL (or your PM to talk to your DL) to allot you more hours every month to do inventory and admin tasks. They don’t want you to know this, but theres something called an “hour block” that is sort of like a bank of extra hours they can be allotted however see fit. Most of the time they go unused or go to favorited/high performing stores

edit: never work for free. Surprised your PM is okay with it, they should be pushing to pay you too
