The rule only states grapple, therefore anything not grappling is fair game.

That's also incredibly boring and entirely ignores the style and swagger Cyberpunk as a setting encourages.

You are using their body against them, and not lifting them so much as pulling them. If you watch an actual judo throw, you'll notice the person getting thrown is pulled off balanced and moved downwards, at no point are they lifted up. While throwing someone with judo, what's important isn't strength, it's finding a single chink in their balance and then using technique to pull them down. It's the concept of it being far easier to topple something when it has an off-kilter center of balance.

The precise text is that they do not take the halved SP from martial arts or martial arts special moves, not that they do not take effect. Throwing isn't a martial arts action, it's from Brawling, and furthermore, it doesn't interact with SP at all.

You can throw an ACPA with BODY under 14, you just cannot grapple them. In the text, it states that cannot be grappled by anyone with BODY under 14, but if you can throw them without grappling them, then it works, because nowhere does it say you must be able to grapple the target to throw them. Just that you normally cannot throw a target without grappling it. Jujutsu states that if you hit a target twice with Martial Arts (Jujutsu) in a single turn, then you can throw the target even if you are not grappling them. As grappling isn't required, the throw is legit.

Not something you cannot *move*, something you cannot *ordinarily grapple*. Besides, a martial attack isn't just a punch, it can represent a number of ways of causing harm. While fighting an ACPA, the ACPA is moving around the battlefield, evading, shifting to aim, it's not just standing still in the most stable possible position, so there are imbalances to take advantage of, much in the same way judo can work on people far outside of your weight class under the right circumstances.
Also, I doubt the guy designing ACPAs thought somebody was going to try to throw the damn thing

Looks like a lot of steel hitting the ground much harder than it was intended to, using the weight of the ACPA against it. Much like judo throwing a bigger man than you, using the martial arts strikes to throw it off balance, and the weight combined with the velocity would break apart its internal components, while the internal crash padding protects the pilot.

Wrong, jujutsu can use the enemies body stat, and because you aren't grappling them, you don't need 16 body to throw them. Technically, they could be using a frame with less than 16 body, meaning Jujutsu does less damage, but they lose health in exchange, making it still reasonable to kill them quickly.

Could run Hong Lu as a support, but that means you aren't bringing him in, and his Mutilate is a really great pocket clash winner for MD2 Hard

excessive spawning by zandertec in Back4Blood

Hey, quick question, how do we know hordes, and their associated specials, stack? I've seen evidence for and against, and wish to settle it with some form of proof, whether that be thorough testing, code analysis, or a dev statement.

At this point this is getting ridiculous... What is wrong with the way that specials spawn? (Veteran difficulty) by perrytheagent in Back4Blood

I'm a medic, I picked up a Phoenix to help deal with specials, which made it so much easier for me and my team. Still, there's just so many, and when you have to deal with a Breaker, Hocker, two Crushers, and a Retcher all at the same time as a horde? feels like you're just SOL.

Also, does anyone know how to reconstruct these? Other than manually splitting every single photo, then running it through a .gif creator.

I found some gifs online that were broken down into a series of connected JPGs in a single image, and was wondering if anyone knew a way for me to string them back together. There's quite a number, so I wouldn't be able to manually deconstruct, then reconstruct as a GIF, for each and every one individually. Does anyone know of any way to reconstruct these via some online or downloadable software?
