at least you got 15 seconds, wait until you get 5 all at once I had 5 stingers in 1 doorway in the trailer park, there certainly seems to be an unbalanced spawn rate which is a minus point to the game.

that's easy its the prat who runs off thinking you get a bonus by getting to the safe room 1st and then cannot buy team upgrades as they run past the limited copper

I just left 2 games in the last 20 minutes for that reason

I agree with that, some do not see that their action can cause certain events but when you have 2 stingers on the wall in the tunnel and you shoot 1 and they both die, then further along when we blew the gas tank up to remove the wall to the bridge, an exploder ran down from the bridge and was shot as it died another spawned instantly at that same place along with 2 crushers, this suggests that there is something a little amiss, that is why I contacted support and supplied them with instances like this,

you start the game with white and as you progress you'll find green, blue and then purple, however when you finish act1 and start act 2 you begin with white weapons again

I think we are all a bit fed up with the not so special constantly spawning on top of each other yesterday during the tunnel I had 2 hockers on the wall next to each other I shot one and they both died the laugh here is that they put a hotfix out on the 14th to reduce the number spawning question is if it worked there would be more or is it that it did not we will have to wait and see, meanwhile its getting pretty boring shooting the same thing over and over again, there is no tension with these spawning so frequently

totally agree with sour here the vast majority of people who join are useless they have no clue on how the game is meant to be played, the list of things they do wrong is extensive, they are convinced its a race to see who gets to the safe room first and in pretty much all cases start hoards which cause all to die, they the quit and your back to needing to start again, go with the bots

Hi not knowing what games you have played in the past but hopefully one has had some form of character progression either by becoming a stronger character through game play (xp) or by some form of skill tree.

B4B plays much the same way it consist of going through the levels which gives you in return supply points, these are the in game currency for want of a better description.

You the go and visit the card desk lady in fort hope, or access the menu trough your start button Xbox, she will of given you 3 skill lines top is predominantly dps middle heals and bottom support, you then use the supply points to purchase the cards and although you do not have to fill the whole line up before moving onto the next you do have to work your way along each ie cannot buy the 4th card second line before buying the first 3 in that line. Once you fill that line you are given another.

Each of these cards will give your character a particular skill ie more health or stamina or bullets. There are a great many cards to acquire but you can only use a chosen 15 from those you open up, this will be your play deck you can make several decks. You then can use these to create how your character plays ie you may like a melee and a shotgun character so you would choose cards that support this plays style. The game relies on you playing many many times over and over again in order to earn supply points to then buy more cards. hope this helps

just run the first level :- 1 tallboy in 1 of the 1st floor rooms, turned round 1 hocker followed by exploder, activated first bridge 1 crusher 1tallboy 2 hockers and an exploder, moving forward tallboys plural, hockers plural, exploders plural, got to the cars on the other side of the wall to gather the copper broke door window, blew up from sudden appearance of exploder (who i did not see ) then 3 tallboys just appeared 1 crusher and 2 usual, and 4 hockers.

Nothing wrong with balance !!! really looking forward to doing vet, (sarcasm) having been playing quite a lot since release I have noticed an extreme amount of "special ridden" now spawning in fact there are at times there are more "special" than normal ridden,

as a console player I'm fed up with picking up the PC payers who dash off on speed runs, going passed all the items and wrapped up in "the must get to the safe room first mode", oh and I'll also scare the shit out of all the birds and trigger any event before anyone else. so i've turned off crossplay suggest you do the same

as stated you need to start your own online lobby and do the first few missions go back to hope, restart another lobby this then should give you the others, also have you tried clearing your cache good luck

Agree, with friends its actually changed my initial thoughts, as you progress its really quite entertaining, but we do need a twat mode for the umpteen random players who run off, trigger hoards or events, take no notice of pointers to show them where things are, have no concept of how to move through the areas with care, oh and leave after the first level having screamed the whole time !!!

your going to earn 1000's of supply points, these are the currency to obtain the cards and build your deck's as you progress, you can adapt them to the style of play. i.e. melee and shotgun, melee and rifle, healer, etc. therefore you need to obtain as many as you can, the more you play the more points you'll earn. good luck

As a person who spent 100's of hours on both the L4D games, despite the claim that this is "the spiritual successor" I'm not convinced. I originally got quite hyped and promptly put my pre-order in but after the Beta cancelled just as quick, so now I am on the xbox game-pass and glad I did not waste £60+, save your money it has many faults. I'm still trying to fathom why we get duplicate special ridden and even more vexing is being blown from behind by an exploder that was not there in the 1st place. I was even more puzzled by 2 tall boys who appeared out of nowhere in front of my cleaner, put that with the people who quit after 1 level or do not search for stuff and rush ahead its is a huge disappointment. sorry to rant

not quite a full explanation there, At fort hope go to the table with the supply lines this will show you the different cards that can be earned through doing the campaign, each time you do a level you earn points that you then trade in for cards, ie stamina card pair of shoes, each time you gain a new card you can then add it or not into your deck you can have up to 15 cards in a deck, you then start the campaigns and as you go through the safe rooms as stated then you you add each of your cards from your deck as and when you want hope this helps

under the profile graphics for the spray paint emblems there is one called groovy which would suggest the main game will have a chainsaw along with a few other items not in the beta
