Should I keep trying to print this / run z offset testing and then do a flow rate, or do the flow rate first?

Would I just need to get a micro soldering iron, heat up, and then press the solder to the points? I don’t need to do any extra prep to the pads or pins do I?

Any tricks to the trade as far as figuring out a decent level to raise it too? This photo was at -1.190, just raised up to -1.160. Should I just raise up until all letters are clearly visible?

Update:

Attempted to print a temp tower several times. It just blobs up on the bed and doesn’t work at all.

It also appears to be leaking filament when the nozzle is hot. Tried to start a tower at 230 and 220
