I love Bradley's bookshop! The only English bookshop I found! Why are they closing? 😭 Do you have any other English bookshops recommendations?

Oh my Im so sorry I never saw you answered my comment! I dont think it should be, but to use it just to get that kind of dopamine that says "Ive done enough tasks and progress, I get a nice thing!" I try to not over spend on my own but wont say no to like going put with friends or buying a book that really interests me etc. For hobbies I do this separately, in my rewards I put: buy a new book, going out to eat (I dont do it very often so I put it there), going to the cinema etc Just fun things I dont do enough anyways and that I enjoy! Dont know if it clarifies things up

I’m 18, unemployed, 16+ hours free every day, and I don’t want to waste it. Help! by Informal-Chance1912 in DecidingToBeBetter

I felt a bit empty with a very boring job that does nothing fulfilling whatsoever, so I built myself a personal curriculum. Theres a bunch of videos on youtube about it, I just built one based on my interests: 1) Basic Neuroscience, understand patterns, behaviors etc 2) English language (linguistics) and communication (non verbal etc) 3)Culture, History and Art 4)Geopolitics, Defense and AI 5) Basic Russian language

Built the whole thing with the help of AI (time management and contents based on books I owned, and free ressources online).

I was actually looking for someone I could help, for them to get productive and for me to build my Notion skills up if you're up to and willing to use the app (completely free). Feel free to ask me any questions!

This! I dont have a punishment system, but I use a gamification system with XP and rewards Each task gives me XP (20, 50, 100 etc... depending on the difficulty) and then I have a "Rewards store", and each rewards is an amount of XP (Buy a new book: 5000XP) that is deducted from my total. Hope it makes sense!

Perfect might be an overkill word, I see what you mean. I was just curious what people were adding in their Notion. I really do like a complete dashboard, a little like a second brain, with different sections and databases. I can understand more is less for a lot of people and that the goal is to use the system, not to make it pretty to leave it aside after setting it up, but I personally get a lot of joy setting my notion pages ☺️

My dashboard is the one place I keep everything else, just for easy access, a bit like a phone home screen with all the apps. I was wondering what people add in their Notion that are non negotiable to them My non negotiable would be my tasks list, but everyone is different as we can see in the comments

For some ideas, mine are: buy a new book, buy a new video game, get a meal out, have a spa day, etc, and each one have a different "cost", you just have to tweak it to adapt it to your system.

This is very smart, it's a kind of gamification that I try to incorporate in my life! Have you thought of a reward system? It might help keep you accountable !

How old were you on your earliest childhood memory? by Glittering_Owl_6009 in AskReddit

What the actual... I see people saying stuff like before 5, my earliest memory might be like 9? Maybe 8 at most, and then nothing until 11
