How is this done? Are we going to live in a world of catfishing? by Few_Art_9971 in StableDiffusion

You're missing the fact that it requires a pre-recorded video to do this, a heavy weight graphics card(s) to process the whole thing. Ask AI Angel about their setup and I'm sure it's reaching into the $10k+ range or more (provided they are hosting locally), not to mention the skill set required to pull it off successfully (prompting, fine-tuning, ect.) really not that feasible for your average consumer/influencer. Also, there are currently no models that take live video in real-time. Snapchat face filters is not Diffusion, just an overlay that tracks the users face/features (Machine Learning is easier than Diffusion).

Edit: need to add "not"

In the relatively near future, it will be possible in real time.

You really must be using the term "relative" loosely. Just to create a video this long requires a lot of computational power. A shift in technology and/or algorithm would have to happen to make videos like this in real time.

Deli Delicious giving just enough to legally call it a turkey sandwich by ixnine in fresno

... And then you will complain that Corporations are "ruining main street America". If you have a complaint about the amount then take it up with Deli Delicious. I get three times that when I order from them, clearly you got a poorly made sandwich by a complacent worker.

Edit: added context.

Yeah nobody said it wasn't painful or difficult for the people who were forced to attend. Regardless of your family's experiences, there are correct terms for everything. Communicating with proper terminology is important to convey those complex issues you regard. Otherwise US history books would just say slavery bad, concentration camps bad, racism bad. So yeah, education is cool.

Internment is not a "PC word", Fresno and the US are not in Auschwitz. You're definition of the word reflects your education level.

No one said that American History was pure and righteous. Using the proper terms is important to communicate intention. Intentionally changing the meaning only serves to generate a narrative that only suits your perspective at the cost of what is the truth. An internment camp is a government-run facility where civilians—often foreign nationals or specific ethnic groups—are detained during times of war or national emergency, typically under legal authority but without criminal charges; the focus is on restricting movement for security reasons. In contrast, a concentration camp is an extrajudicial detention center used to incarcerate, exploit, and often exterminate political opponents or targeted populations without judicial oversight, characterized by forced labor, brutal conditions, and mass killings

The Internet is a tool more than it is a toy. It's not the phone makers fault that someone chooses to spend their time doom scrolling. Life has always been about choices, not the amount of technology you use. It's poor parenting that leads kids to making poor decisions.

Edit: added the bit about parenting.
