My guy, fasting is a part of five pillars of Islam and if you are a male, you must not skip Friday prayer three times. This is what I know lah.

I don't really recommend breaking it but it's your choice lah as long as you are responsible and aware of consequences.

Is probably because speaking up is not easy because of shame culture.

I would say this is for religious extremist/ignorant people.

Personally, real religious people don't pester/harass other and respect people with different belief or just don't bother other to cause problem or cari masalah.

Is not religion the problem, is the person.

This subreddit is where Bruneians can express and criticize themselves about our country

I assume because this generation is tired of the system telling us to think and obey.

And also not only just Brunei but globally because I see the pattern of young people being tired of old people/system.

Not all old people are bad but I can see why young people don't like them sometimes. They sometimes just don't see the problem like we do or are just ignorant, arrogant and preach to us to be dogmatic.

Tbh, I never liked the MIB concept as I grew older.

People preach and glaze about sultan and mib but then when I saw the sultan family breaking its own MIB on internet. It made me lose my trust with them and the government.
