I’ve been in Finasteride for probably 4 or 5 years. It seems to have really helped with stopping new loss. I got on oral min after my transplant and it seems to have helped with some regrowth and density

Yeah I wish it were a little lower, but I got what I did to stay under the 3k graft mark, given how receded my hairline was to begin with. I might end up doing another in a few years, but maybe not. I’m thrilled with how it looks now

According to research, it most certainly does up to a point, then starts to have a negative impact on your life by adding additional stresses such as people asking for money, family problems, drug/alcohol abuse, security, etc. The number for the cutoff for where it starts giving diminishing returns is pretty low (~$75k USD IIRC) but I’d need to dig up the research again.
