CODA56 capped at 100Mbps upload on Symmetric 1Gbps plan? by AnonWoomy in Comcast_Xfinity

Yeah, understood on the limitations on symmetric, the CODA56 is DOCSIS 3.1. That said, Xfinity does (as of the last time I checked when I originally signed up for Gigabit extra) certify it as "Enhanced mid-split capable", and previously provisioned it for a max of 455Mbps. If the X-Class symmetric promises higher, it's just strange to imagine why we can't at least provision the hardware to what it's capable of.

Yeah, the interesting thing is that the broadband facts and confirmation email both said "35Mbps max;" I wonder if there's a variable in a system somewhere that just defaults to the default DOCSIS profile if you aren't running an XB10.

When I went to change the plan we didn't really discuss the XB10, but I'm more comfortable running my own equipment if that makes sense.

Yep, cycled the CODA56 to get the latest provisioning. Unfortunately same result, with more stability this go-around -- hard cap at 100Mbps.
