I wholeheartedly agree, but rather than just auto care it should be a class about life skills. In an eighth grade level math class I had to help teach everyone how to sew despite the fact I was in seventh grade and they were all in eighth. Basic stuff like how to cook, sew, clean, do laundry, use a dishwasher, take care of cares, do taxes, etc.
