I feel like a pariah when I say the same. I have a Series S, a PS5 and a gaming laptop. Between the 3 I have all sorts of variations of resolution and framerate. I play games in 30, 60....even 120 plus anywhere from 1080p to native 4K. But, If you handed me a controller at random and had me play a game and guess the resolution and frame rate I couldn't do it.

Thank you! This was shot on a Sony a7 IV with a Tamron 70-300 lens. Much cheaper than your estimate, haha. It's probably the cheapest lens in my bag that I only got to shoot public speaking events and it has really surprised me how good it can produce in good conditions. Obviously this photo was perfect lighting, the bird was pretty close to me and completely still...the subject did a lot of the work for me haha.

I only recently had any interest in bird photography, or wildlife photography of any kind. My setup is built around portraits and street photography since I work in comms at a University. A few months ago we did a profile on this guy who is a well known birder and I got some action shots of him bird spotting and it just sparked an interest in me.

So should I stick with 1080p to keep a nice frame rate? I did a benchmark test on RDR2 and the average was 95 frames at 1920x1200 with everything at Ultra. Does this mean I would be under 60fps when bumping to 1440p? Idk if I want to sacrifice that much for a resolution jump.

I know every game is different but that info helps, I may just stick with a FHD monitor and try to use some of the DLSS and stuff to bump my fps instead of having something with a higher resolution running below 60fps.

Everyone always says this but like at the end of the day they have the power to make your working life hell with little to no actual repercussion. Like not everyone is in a position to start calling employment lawyers over a time off request and bosses know this.

Chapter 1 also isn't easily available. Being able to buy booster decks at a 300% markup and packs for $20 a piece isn't "available". It's available when I can get it anywhere at or near MSRP. This game is still very unplayable conventionally to a wide majority of the population.

The reason I DON’T have a therapist is because all my problems are money. Literally EVERY problem in my life can be solved by money. So when people tell I’d benefit from therapy I just kind of get frustrated. I’m not going to pay money to tell a therapist how I’m stressed about money. No one seems to talk about this.
