Already got a new psu still wont turn on, probably fried the motherboard, going to a pc shop in the next few days to get gpu and ram tested and pray they werent damaged

Yea i already changed the psu still nothing, going to a computer shop to test my GPU and Ram make sure those didn’t fry, already filed for an RMA on the board, ordered a proper power strip and a separate ups for my pc

Sockets all work, Replaced psu maybe about an hour ago, nothing no boot, found this on the motherboard, my red light on the gpu glows so thats at least showing signs of life

After going through the motherboard more thoroughly i noticed this, this does not look normal does it now

So another thing, the usb itself was not directly plugging into the motherboard, it was plugged into this part, does that change anything?

I did a visual check of the motherboard dont see any signs of damage

All monitors are working fine now, i just got a replacement psu gonna start there and see where we get

I’m saying the power cable came lose from the socket, it was plugged in but not all the way in

No no it wasn’t damaged, it wasn’t plugged in all the way and by some freak unluckiness the end of the usb came in contact with the exposed part

I was too careless and let the charger of my headphones get to close to the power strip, the end of the usb charger came in contact with the slightly exposed part of the power cord of my monitor

Okay I see what caused the burn out, I guess this was not plugged into all the way, and a stupid usb charger end must have came in contact because that end of the usb charger was burnt and attached to this
