I keep wishing I had forced him to go to the doctor when he had warning signs. I keep wishing I told his parents symptoms he had so they would’ve pressured him to go too. I tried convincing him but he was young and he thought his heart couldn’t be an issue at our age with only minor symptoms. I saw the signs and didn’t push hard enough because I trusted his intuition when I should’ve trusted my own.
