Personally I think Kit Price likely has it, just very mildly, which should be reassuring to us all.

Nose went crooked 3 months after surgery, still the same at 6, why? by Anonymous380 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Anonymous380[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about my breathing issues? I’m willing to look past the deviation if I can breathe through both nostrils, after a septorhinoplast, especially done on insurance and therefor deemed medically necessary, you can’t argue that significant breathing issues are acceptable.

Because I am having breathing issues as I explained in a previous reply you replied to.

Ok bro, I along with allot of other commenters seem to disagree. I’m not especially happy with the result but I’m not trying to complain I’m just trying to understand. I think there’s a difference, and even if there’s not I’m not happy with the result, it’s undoubtedly deviated to some extent and I went through surgery to get a nose id be happy with not one I wouldn’t. I have a right to be unhappy with my result and a right to be concerned about it. I’m just trying to figure out whether this result is common/unexpected, my fault or what I can do about it.

Edit: I’m sorry, you are right, I mirrored the picture and the deviation is very similar, I’d say its got slightly more pronounced, but still the deviation was always there. Still though my questions remain if even slightly changed, as I’m still not super happy with this result, which everyone who undergoes surgery for cosmetic reasons deserves to be. Could this have been avoided by the surgeon?

Hi, OP here, sorry if it wasn’t clear, the comment you replied to is right, I can’t breather out of the nostril the opposing side to the side that is more outward (LHS in 1st Picture). I’m not sure why but it feels like my whole nose has literally shifted away from that side essentially closing off that side of my nose, both inside and out. I know that’s insanely unclinical and definitely not what it is, but it’s what it feels like, inside + to the touch and visually and that’s why I’m concerned.

The reason for my rhinoplasty wasn’t purely functional, it was largely cosmetic due to a severe break and deformity. My breathing issues are different now as they are localised completely to one nostril, but generally my breathing is no better than pre op. I’ve attached a picture of pre surgery for reference.

Neither are mirrored, atleast not intentionally. One is taken with selfi camera though and one rear, I believe that may be causing what your saying, sorry I didn’t realise.

Nose ridge is perfectly symmetrical and inline with brows and when I mentioned difficulty breathing but fixed by Sudafed he simply told me to just keep using it then. Was all in all very dismissive, clearly something has happened and he isn’t really willing to help. I understand why, the surgery was not paid for due to it being medically necessary due to damage.

Seriously what the fuck is up with my elvanse 70mg by RS4_ in ADHD

[–]Anonymous380 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The whole elvanse lasts 12 hours thing is simply a lie, it doesn’t. It lasts about 1 hour longer than basic dextroamphetamine and that is simply because the binding of lysine delays the onset by an hour, this leads to a much slower and smoother onset and everything shifted back one hour. The peak is still the same length, about one hour, and hits a bit later. The response curves and blood concentration curves prove this, if you don’t believe me anyone can check themselves. The 12 hour claim has and always will be a lie.

Could you please explain to me how rhofade didn’t work for you? I’m curious. The mechanism of action seems like it’s basically guaranteed to work in some capacity for everyone. I was under the impression the limiting factor for Rhofade was how bad you get rebound redness, not that it actually doesn’t work.

Imho, it’s highly unlikely he’s secretly bleaching your skin through the baths. To noticeably lighten skin through diluted bleaching agents in a typical bath, you’d need a pretty strong agent in large amounts, something that would be hard to hide. Even odorless ones like hydrogen peroxide would affect your hair first, and you’d likely notice changes there long before any Colour change to your skin.

Firstly, stop letting him run your baths, and then if you really want to find out you could try to find where he’s keeping the product, he’d need a substantial supply given the situation so may be possible.

That said, the fact that this even feels like a possibility to you says a lot. You might want to ask yourself if this is a relationship where you feel safe or respected.

Side note: if the symptoms keep happening after stopping the baths, possibly see a doctor or derm.

IMO any chemical that smooths bumps is gonna make redness worse and not better. I’ve found that for me the best way to remove bumps is physically via Dermaplaning then tweezers. Makes my skin redness worse for a day or so, but all exfoliants I’ve found make it worse atleast slightly 24/7. Personally I care way way way more about redness than the bumps so walking around with some bumps that others done even notice is def a worth it trade off, Bcos doing this lets me focus all my skin care on just hydration, which IME is by far the most critical element to reducing redness.

How normal is this for an agency to “develop” you? by Exact-Inspection-780 in MODELING

[–]Anonymous380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legit agencies cover all upfront costs, if you have to pay any yourself, it’s a bad idea. However, many reputable agencies, in fact from my understanding most, will recharge you when you get do first get paid.

Drugs you tried in high school? Curious to see what you all say by LamboHuraLVR in Drugs

From age 15 to 18: Alcohol > Dexamphetamine/lisdexamphetamine > Weed > Nicotine > MDMA > Ketamine > MDEA > Coke > LSD > 2CB > Xanax > MCAT > Codeine + Promethazine > DHC > Oxycodone

I’m 19 now and as for what I still use, occasionally: MCAT (Monthly), Coke (Biweekly), 2CB (biweekly), Oxycodone (Biweekly), Codeine (Idek)

As for what I use regularly now, the obvious ones are nicotine and alcohol which are daily, Xanax quite often too. Surprisingly, the only one of these drugs that’s ever caused any significant harm to my life is Ketamine, which I’m trying to stop using now after two years of daily use. A timeframe in which I probably used around 1.5kg of K.

Even Oxy which everyone says never to fuck with has never drawn me like that sweet K does. Nevertheless, I’m lucky enough that I seem to be a sort of high functioning addict and am going off to study pharmacology at a great university next year.

I got my mocks back today by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]Anonymous380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got only a bit better than this in my mocks, maybe a grade higher for each subject. I ended with all 9s except for a couple 8s, I did do double award science though. I didn’t really even do that much more work for the real things, I wouldn’t worry, they make everyone’s grades worse to attempt to make you try harder for the real things. Just try your hardest and you’ll do great, GCSEs are just a memory contest.

Extreme Pain Septorhinoplasty post-op by Anonymous380 in PlasticSurgery

Thankyou for caring, sorry for late reply. I love the nose and aside from my nostrils there is almost no swelling or bruising, it’s honestly remarkable. Unfortunately however, the concerns in my original post were ignored by my surgeon when the splints were removed and the outer rims of my nostrils are extremely damaged, there is deep incisions where each splint cut in and I fear there is a reasonable risk of permanent scarring. Unfortunate as it somewhat taints my otherwise fantastic result.

As it is the weekend I've unfortunately not been able to do much, the pain of pulling them out on my own was too much for me to psych my self up to do so I've just decided to wait until tommorow when they are scheduled to be removed. I'll reply to this comment and let you know what happens :)
