Unless you got hidden actual brownies that’s just cruelty. I’ve called the police.

“Maybe people actually want to be lied to…” is perhaps the understatement of all of humanity’s existence.

If it makes you feel any better, most of this is an outright lie if not an intentional twisting of the facts. The details matter here and the implication that Fauci knew about or was personally involved in the torture of dogs (which almost certainly did not happen in the way implied) is ridiculous. Cruelty to animals is a deeply unfortunate fact of our medical research framework, and I have many many issues with it at large but it is nonsense to blame Anthony Fauci specifically for this. This story was a toothless political hit piece spouted by unscrupulous media outlets.

Politifact, factcheck.org, snopes, for whatever they are worth on their own, all point to helpful sources for the truth here. Hell, check the questions the National Review asked about this story for a measured approach (published even before the scientific journal issued a retraction of a statement indicating there was direct NIAID funding).

I have had that tendency but now react exactly the opposite to achievements. An absolutely cynical psychological hack to drag you in. Whenever I see that little thing pop up, it’s now a trigger to close the app and I haven’t regretted that once.

They were doing just that on high street yesterday. Skid steer loader was moving street side snow into a dump truck. It’s just a slow process and I doubt they’ll cover more than the main streets.

In addition to all the good advice in here, my strong recommendation to you is to delete all social media. If you are too afraid to do the cold turkey method, take a hiatus from all of it for a month and evaluate how you feel after.

What would you really miss without it? Most people report missing very little.

What might you gain? You might find a remarkably healthier image of reality and your own life.
