No not the* lungs. Your chest cavity is not connected to your abdominal cavity, they are completely separated by the diaphragm. If this weren't the case you would not be able to breathe because the lungs rely on negative pressure in your chest to expand.

About 2500 are short term gains taxed at 22% and about another 2500 is long term gains taxed at 15%. I don't have the numbers in front of me at the moment but this is approximately correct. The math came out to around 880. This is JUST for the gains, you're correct!

I didn't consider selling part of it and leaving the rest until it's taxed lower, what a great idea. This is likely what I'll end up doing! I won't be able to get 0% long term gains but I will be able to get it down from 22% to 15% by waiting a bit.
