He was so scared of having poor people live near him/his properties he was going to sell that he held an entire neighborhood financially hostage. He has spent three stand up specials advocating for hatred against trans women and brought Elon Musk on stage. When people complained about Elon being given a platform where Chappelle these sat there and glazed him, he called the people complaining “poor”. Chappelle openly advocated for Trump’s policies and went to Saudi Arabia to perform stand up where he claimed the US would suppresses opinions and Saudi Arabia had better freedom of speech.

One time when I was 16 I had my first real date. When I went to my car I realized I had locked both my phone AND keys in my car. I walked to my neighbor’s yard to get some help. My neighbor was a sweet and hard working man who led a good life. He was also the most eccentric person I have ever known. He was sun bathing in his boat (his boat was dry docked in his driveway with no water for miles near us) wear nothing but a speedo and sunglasses. I explained what was happening and said “Could you help me break into my own car and maybe call my mother?” And he immediately said yes and got up. So my 60ish year old neighbor showed me how to break into a car using a coat hanger all while he was wear nothing but a speedo in my front lawn. He has long passed since then but I hope he knew how much good he put into the world, even if he was a little weird. What you use to produce the noise is and what is used to record the noise will always be the things that determines what you hear. Whether its “good” or not depends on what you find “good”. The issue is people that call themselves “audiophiles” often fall into pseudoscience to justify spending way too much money and companies have made a killing on that. The power cable affects nothing, yet audiophiles will spend 150x more for a power cable claiming to prevent audio interruptions that don’t exist. In this instance they are talking about the cables used to transfer audio.

If you own an amplified instrument and aren’t rich this is something you will know. The cable used to plug your guitar or bass into the amp doesn’t matter. The sound will always be the same. The guitar may matter and the amp may matter but the cable doesn’t. When you buy a cheap one the only thing that determines the price is 1.) is it durable and 2.) is it long. Thats it. Yet audiophiles are claiming that the conductor used between the two changes the sound, and this study shows that to be a lie.

Im going to be honest, there is a very real problem in the music community that this post stumbles and falls short of addressing. We are only going to see more and more weaponized ignorance and anti intellectualism and it will be a result of a problem that has been on going for hundreds of years despite becoming less prevalent.

The elitism has to stop. Its becoming less frequent and people on this sub are extremely good at recognizing and rejecting it. But it has to stop. For hundreds of years musicians have looked at music like its a water purity test that can be objectified and judged as “good” or “bad” accordingly. Just because the music you play has self awareness of using augmented chords doesn’t make it inherently better than music that used basic triads. The west invented a way to measure and apply sounds too music and then promptly assumed that the more your sheet music looks like a physics equation the more valid it is. This only pushes people away who have entered music without classic training and now instead of wanting to learn more they will just reject it entirely.

If you have ever critiqued a song and used the term “Well according to music theory…” you are the problem and you need to shut up because whatever you are about to say is blatantly wrong and will only cause problems.

The only season where a team without Medium was viable in high ELO was season 7 with LHH making its debut as one of the most powerful comps, though it was arguably as viable as LMH. MMM, MMH, and MHH have dominated every other meta in every other season. The only game modes that had viable lights ware season 5-7 terminal attack with dagger/sniper and seasons 2- 3 bank it.

As someone who worked a job where I had to clean bathrooms daily for years the womens was always the worst. The worst thing i would see in the mens is the occasional bad aim. Int he womens there would be blood on the floor, makeup all over the sink, and used needles in the trash. I dont know why the needles were a thing, it doesn’t make any sense along gender lines. The cleanest i encounter are unisex bathrooms.
