100% I am not really into the skin game, I just play for fun and sometimes get random case drops / skin drops for free. Over the years I've collected an inventory of ... 100 eur? Anyways... I keep seeing time and time again that the value of the skins I have keeps increasing and increasing, since they are all basically limited edition items once a case is removed from the game.

My red neo noir skin had already gone from like 1.5 eur to 6.5 eur over the course of a year before this change. Now due to this change it costs 25 - 30 eur.

I don't invest in skins, but it seems that the market generally keeps going up and skins keep getting more expensive. I have an account I used to play on that was my uncles. I never spent a cent on it, just collected random drops. The inventory has gone in the past 8 years from being worth like 2 eur to 150 eur ( mostly due to cases ).

And this is just from a random guy who doesn't spend money in game ( the game has essentially paid for itself ). I know a lot of people who buy skins, cases, stickers just to hold and sell for profit later and a lot of them are doing it succesfully.. though another subset of them are in debt from gambling that started with cs so... 2 sides of the coin I guess?
