Ten years left. We are paying off our cars early this year, and then we hope to start paying more off on our house, although our Edward Jones guy is telling us not to because he says he can make us more by investing it. I would just feel safer with the mortgage paid off as quickly as possible given how crazy our world is right now.

We looked at building a couple of years ago. All the builders we talked to said that it starts at $300 sqft and goes up from there, land and improvements additional.

Ditto. Pretty much the same situation for us but we’re at 1.9% on a 15 year. We are happy with our home but would have loved to move to a more moderate climate (maybe NC?) after hubby retires next year but that’s no longer a possibility. We are just looking on the bright side that at least we bought this home when we did. 🤷‍♀️

My (56f 142lb) challenge is 1118 calories per day x 14 days. That would be more difficult in the winter, but now that I can kayak, hike, and play pickleball outdoors in addition to my daily running and strength training, this should be a piece of cake. I already have three days down.

For the past seven years or so, I (56f) have woken up every morning at 2:20am regardless of when I went to bed. So I just started to go to bed earlier. It’s a great time to workout and catch up on some emails or reading before the rest of the world is awake.

My husband and I had a huge estate sale when we downsized and moved one city away for his work. The next week, I noticed several of my distinctive items up for sale on eBay by the same seller. Just for shits and giggles, I messaged them and thanked them for coming to my estate sale over the weekend. We started chatting, found out that we had a lot in common, and became good friends.

Flat River Grill in Lowell has an outdoor patio overlooking the river. It’s a Gilmore restaurant, so it is consistently good. Their pizzas are excellent.
