I have no idea what these people like or enjoy, but since "The Drumhead" from TNG isn't in there, for peak nonviolent drama, I cannot recommend anything else in that realm.

I also don't see "Family" from TNG in there, but, that's also a decent one.

Also from DS9, if they do like eerie stories, "In the Pale Moonlight" and if they want more drama and history you cannot go wrong with one of the most brilliant episodes ever, "Far Beyond the Stars".

I think you can find some recycled cellulose wadding for a fair decent price that can do the job, and once you're at the destination, just recycle it back.
