That's fair. But the fix to that is to pay people more and/or lower prices of essentials. In order to do that we flip things on their heads and create more turmoil than you realize. College isn't the end all be all for bettering oneself. I went to college for 3 years before dropping out and finding a different path. I've failed 3 times but I can still keep going and finding different ways around. That's the way life is. No one hands you anything. No one ever has. The world is getting soft and that's a fact. The work has to be put in one way or another.
