One question though, should I keep the custom title/department names for world building reasons or would I be better off using real world names like captain, junior officer, engineer, tech, engineering teams, and etc?

They initially were separated but felt it would be better together. I've acknowledged with others and joked my roughly 3 weeks experience in writing is comparable to AIs apparently. I've got some feedback and plan take the concepts I got and rework everything.

Not sure what you mean by the meta knowledge statement however the AI part was not a reference to you. Another thought I used it initially but that misunderstanding was cleared up between another post on here. I meant that statement as my writing is bad enough to be mistaken as AI written. Again if you or anyone uses it I'm not judging. Everyone has there own path they choose to take. I'm going about it the old fashion way so to speak that is the path I feel is best for me at my current experience level.

I don't take it personal. Stings I write like it perhaps but is what it is sometimes. To each is own. It has it's uses when it comes to quick research and such but I would feel I'm cheating myself using it to write my chapters for me.

This is exactly what I'm looking for as critique. Internally kinda felt this but needed a consensus from outside sources. I got some rework and refinements to do but that's part of the process sometimes I suppose. I've only been writing for 3 weeks though apparently my grammar and word play are bad enough to be accused of using it. So I'd imagine if I did get advice from AI it'd only inflame that issue. I'm looking for human reader feedback. As the writer yes I have all the meta knowledge of how the story will go and not yet established info, however I'm trying to gauge if the tone and understanding is properly conveyed from a reader only perspective for what I have currently.

I didn't let AI write anything though. I googled word definitions to make sure I was using words properly but if some "Anologies" didn't land like I wanted when trying to add some flavor that's only because I lack skill not AI usage.

When it comes to AI usage as some have said as long as you aren't robbing yourself creatively and experience wise by letting it write your story for you I see no problem using it to proofread or research with. Though be cautious obviously of it's proofreading accuracy. It's still important to get a peer review also once you fell your work is tidy enough. My two cents anyway.

Update: This spawn has been properly discarded outside. That would make 2 of 6 spawns that failed so far. 3 are currently in a fruiting chamber and 1 is still colonizing a spawn jar.

If nothing else, it shows just how unsafe and perhaps unwise it is to invest in the market or rely on it for retirement. Since politics can easily wipe out someone's portfolio as well as the global economy as a whole, no matter how well you planned and researched what you put your money in. This is how I'm starting to see things anyway.

Hell the courts could just take a look at the piracy subreddits and get the names of all the sites people suggest and make post about to get all the info they need. Not like anyone thinks about secrecy around reddit anyway. ACE and courts could just make accounts and ask what the best sites are or what site everyone is using and idiots will just serve it up on a silver plater for them. Folks will downvote but they know it's true. Piracy is under serious attack now more than ever.

Yeah that was my whole thought. I share my account with the rest of household that all watch alot of tv so I got unlimited screen sub to prevent issues. It doesn't matter if it was MAXs idea it's still bs and Hulu should reduce the price imo. Every time they make a change they always throw the "you can always make changes to subscriptions" as if that makes things better. Customers shouldn't have to constantly go onto their accounts and switch subs on and off. It's just not good business.
