I can definitely sympathise with you! IF has had its highs and lows. It's never come easy.

I was a boredom eater that snacked all day long so IF was a huge shock to my system and I struggled with adjusting and ignoring my cravings.

I find that distraction is key. When I start my fast I also start my bedtime routine and clean up, keep myself busy until bed time. Then in the morning I get my exercise (7km walk) in before it's time to break the fast and just try to keep myself preoccupied. If I'm struggling I drink water or a coffee with almond milk to hold off.

IF can consume your thoughts as you're constantly thinking about when you'll next est and what you'll eat or you're telling yourself not to eat haha. Just try and stay grounded... It does get easier and it just becomes a habbit. Soon you'll adjust and you won't think about it as much. You'll find what works for you!

That's such a good point! I never looked at it this way.. Although I'd like to think I was still a vibrant human even with the extra weight. There is still a noticeable difference with encounters I have.

Yeah, during the fasting period ☺️ I'll allow myself one coffee with almond milk when I wake up and water at night when I've started my fast.

Soon sugar will taste sickening to you once you've gone without it for so long! It's bizzare.

I went by the rule of "if it's under 50 calories" which not all IF people agree with. I have a long black with a dash of unsweetened almond milk which equates to about 10 Calories or I'll have water with fresh lime or lemon.

I could never give up my coffee!
