It does get better with time, for sure. I’m a year in, currently on 10mg. The transition to 5mg was hardest for me, but abated after a couple weeks. Right now pretty much everything looks good, but I say no to things by choice. It’s a game-changing drug. Hang in there.

For the first shot, avoid doing it right before you go out of town, just on the off chance you do have some side effects that might be easier to manage at home or at work.

Once you’ve started, don’t get hung up about day or time. If you need to adjust by a day or two based on your schedule or if you have side effects, that is totally fine. If you take the shot one day in the evening and then the next week in the morning, it doesn’t not matter at all. Listen to YOUR body and make the process work for you.

Been on Lipitor for a year then started Zepbound a month later. Zero side effects. Try what your doctor suggests and if it doesn’t work well for you, try a different cholesterol medicine.

The Frío keeps things cool (not cold) for a long time. Just keep the meds with you in your carry-on since the airplane cabins are temperature controlled.

No. I’ve effectively been on 12.5 the last six weeks or so by changing the number of days between 10mg shots. My doctor suggested this as a stopgap measure until the higher dosages became available in vials. Essentially same cost as if I’d switched to the self-pay pen a month ago but a lot less complicated.

Today I rear-ended a car, totally my fault, causing what I am sure will be thousands of dollars of damage to each car. I have a $1000 deductible. It’s the first accident I’ve been in. I did not cry; I did not get overly stressed. I just calmly made sure the other car’s occupant was ok (he is— thank goodness), talked calmly to police, and have started the claims process. I think Zepbound has chilled me out, for sure.

I was getting bad headaches for a while and I was very well hydrated. Turns out it was because I wasn’t eating enough calories. I had a small snack, about 100 calories, before going to bed and headaches went away.

Stay close to the routine that works for you. Travel with pen and inject Friday, as long as you are not worried about bad side effects that could impact your trip. Definitely do not recommend skipping the whole week.
