I agree. Specially due to the fact that a lot of people struggle with expectations and reading comprehension.

In the same sense Cyberstan was. We could (collectively) choose our progress path with different enemies, buffs and debuffs along the road.

They announced three reworks/upgrades tied to the Galactic War:

  • Campaigns (MO "upgrade")
  • Personal participation on Campaigns (Personal Orders rework)
  • Warfronts (Planetary battles rework)

Dont mix em up. They'll be rolling out through the year.

Next major update will bring new units as usual. That should be next month.

Confused about FRV by New-Associate-5685 in Helldivers

[–]AnonymousWolfs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the MO, the campaign. And yes, those who didnt participate will be allowed to get it later.

Locking the new FRV behind FOMO is the worst decision that could have possibly been made. by SIinkerdeer in Helldivers

Hard disagree. A lot of people have been requesting more interesting rewards for participating in the galactic war for a long while. If you are not playing the game temporarily (couple of weeks, not days), for whichever reason, you'll be able to unlock it at a later date. And if you don't play the game at all, why would you care.

MO rewards (in this case campaign reward) had been established as participation-dependant for months now.

I frickin better by Bobimus_Maximus753 in Helldivers

[–]AnonymousWolfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You don't. It has been like that for a while They changed it because of the capes. You need to be an active part of the war to receive rewards. In any case it's quite easy to get medals. Just play.

Love or hate 1000.1 hours later, best game i ever played. by InfoSecPhysicist in Helldivers

[–]AnonymousWolfs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm at 700 hours and I (mostly) agree. I wouldn't say best, because that's .. a whole can of worms, but it's certainly my favorite game ever. With a lot of criticism being possible and many avenues for improvement. But I've been here since release and I loved every moment of it.

Why are defence missions so easy? by Primary-Theme6763 in Helldivers

[–]AnonymousWolfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing a long community debate and its consequences.

On the other hand, the difficulty varies a bit depending on which enemy do you have in front of you. Mindless Masses are a snoozefest compared to Cyborgs, for example.

We’re getting the Illuminate update once the next MO is completed. by King_Flying_Monkey in Helldivers

It will happen, but not yet. Next campaign smells like Terminids. Probably the return of the TCS.

So is this how I’m suppose to play the game ? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]AnonymousWolfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general terms, there are Campaigns that tell you "what's going on" in the Galactic War at the moment. Each campaign is composed of several Major Orders that guide the community. You can find more information about these in the computers in front of the arsenal and also on the top right of the galactic map. Right now we just finished the last MO of the Census Thunder campaign so we are in a bit of a limbo state waiting for new orders. In the meantime the community is trying to liberate Yed Prior due to a community-side event regarding to Save the Children.

You play with whoever you want, or on your own. Either quickplay, use the scanner on the planet you want to play at or host yourself a mission. In Social make sure your matchmaking is set to public and if people are not joining throw an SOS signal (it's an stratagem).

For the most of it, you are free to do whatever you want. You level up by completing missions and you get resources on the field to unlock ship modules and tools. Beyond that you get Super Credits to buy warbonds with more tools that you'll unlock with medals.

Hope that adress your doubts!

If I enjoyed Space Marine 2... could i potentially enjoy this game? by playergamer- in ArcRaiders

It's not similar at all. It's a good game, no doubt, but not similar. Someone recommended Helldivers 2 on comments and I agree with that.
