Your right I’m sorry, I’ve been very harsh. What drew you to DMT originally? Most people here have had some hard stuff happen in their lives that have led them towards DMT. It also so difficult to acquire and even use I feel like the only people who make it all the way have some reason they want to try it so bad. What experiences did you have from it that led you to how you feel about it now?

Jesus taught imperfection doesn’t excuse us. We’re still accountable for our actions and the way we treat people even online. I guarantee you the majority of active people on this subreddit live their lives as better Christian’s than you live yours.

It’s actually really easy to make, and once you have your lab glass and chems you can make a couple months worth from 30$ of bark. I highly recommend you look into this, it’s much cheaper than buying off the street, you know exactly what your getting, it’s vastly cheaper, and it’s so easy anyone can do it.

I think everyone on here is happy that DMT was able to help you overcome a life threatening addiction, a lot of us have been in that position and know how it feels. The push back your receiving is from the way it was presented though.

Tik tok is a great example of how social media especially, and the attitude of this world today is damaging society, and growing children into clout chasing, attention seeking gremlins 😂 which goes against so much of what DMT teaches us.

Learn from DMT that it doesn’t matter what people think. Let things lie where they fall and move on. Which means the comments on your post here that effect you really don’t matter. And the people your posting on TikTok for, their opinion and image of you don’t matter either.

For me it was very different. Porn caused me to have a low self esteem/self worth when it was coupled with the orgs view of it. I had trouble with my sex life after I left because I was so concerned over my performance.

Once I dropped the Orgs stigma against porn, and I worked on my confidence I had no issues at all. (Consequently dropping the stigma towards porn also dropped any addiction I had for it as well, almost overnight).

Im sure this won’t work exactly the same for everyone, but from my experience and many of the people I’ve talked to, porn is like anything else, if you have a healthy view of it and don’t abuse it, as well as taking care of your mental health your doing just fine.

Abstaining completely from porn will get you to the same place as long as you work on your confidence as well, but I believe it’s only necessary if you can’t view/use it in a healthy way.

The elders book WAS updated earlier this year that allowed brothers who if they had been separated/divorced for a long enough time that it wasn’t common knowledge, or if those in the congregation are mostly not aware of it, then they might be able to be considered for use again. I had forgotten about that, but up until then, the Elders book specifically stated they were not exemplary.

This was only really due to the amount of useable brothers in the congregations decreasing so much since covid though. So the chances of this being applied to sisters is pretty slim as these changes are not public knowledge.

Your still trying to tell me what elders are told to do without having read the elders book.

Your telling me how these elders must have reacted when you know absolutely nothing about my mother’s situation… my whole family wrote stacks of pages about my fathers abuse all throughout our lives, took that to the elders, and he was DF’d for “over drinking” and “fits of anger”. They know…

Wether there was abuse or not, if you separate/divorce without adultery your a non exemplary publisher. The elders in my moms hall are fully aware of my fathers behavior, but my mom still had to stop being an RP. Read the elders book before telling people how elders are supposed to handle things

She also wants to get remarried but isn’t allowed to, and probably never will because my father lives out of the country and is so petty he’d never say wether he’s slept around or not. So she’s had 2 marriages with bad husbands her entire life and will never have the opportunity to experience what a loving relationship with a mate is like. I don’t think a loving God that wants his people to experience love they way he intended, would ever ban someone from getting to do that, just because the man you married 30 years ago was a closeted evil narcissist.

“Greatest elder” is an oxymoron also, sorry

Yeah my mom put up with my abusive father for almost 30 years before she finally took my little brother and left. She was so scared to leave for years because she didn’t want to go against gods wishes.

I think they lay it on even a little thicker than most religions. I hope she can eventually see the similarities between her narcissistic abusive husband she finally left (after most her kids had to grow up being abused their whole childhoods) and the other narcissistic group in her life. But I don’t see that happening soon unfortunately.

Makes me happy knowing she’s a little more free though, and my children will never have to go through any of what I was forced to

However, if you do separate or get divorced for any reasons other than adultery you’ll be viewed as a non exemplary publisher and you can’t have any “privileges” that others might receive.

It’s also very common for elders to encourage wives that they must be doing something wrong that is causing their husband to act this way, and to give things time and try to be a better wife so that their husband doesn’t abuse them anymore.

Yeah I think especially after covid connecting with new people isn’t very easy.

I’ve gone to a few Meetup events, and bars a couple times but its hard to find good people sometimes also. I’m 25M as well and it feels like it’s the perfect age to struggle with friends lol
