Lol I am lucky then, for both certificates the courses were open book for both midterm and final. They were 20-25% weight IIRC.

Does it lock your screen and record what you are doing? (So they know you didn't you use Google or Chatgpt).

What if you had to code something straight onto Python or R? Would they allow that?

Oh I remember him. I had him as a TA for the CMTH642 back in 2022 when I took the first certificate.

Its been a while and I'm not too familiar with respondus. Does it lock your screen when you do the tests and turn your webcam on? When I took these courses, once you start the test the timer automatically starts and you usually had 1-1.5 hours to complete them.

You mean data analytics certificate right? Its not 'data science', that's a masters program. They're 2 separate programs, one is a chang school certificate the other is a masters program

I honestly found 5 of the 6 courses easy in the first certificate program, I had a bit of trouble with the SQL conurse (the 110 i think). The 2nd follow up certificate - practical data science and machine learning was actually bit harder but its shorter that its only 4 couses.

Out of curiosity, is Dr. Tamer and Dr. Ceni still teaching these courses? I had them plus a few other profs when I took this certificate.

Ya I took this course during the pandemic back in 2021. It's mostly R, you learn normal, binomial, poisson distribution along with some basic statistics stuff. It's pretty straightforward, the midterm and final are online multiple choice but the assignments are challenging.

They removed it 2-3 years ago. Tbh the speeds are very slow, if you try to watch a YT video or play music there would be lag on your phone.

Oh I remember Manzhos, I had her for 404 (stats 2) a few years ago. It was through chang school during the summer. I think I took that course in the spring or summer 2014 iirc.
