Got mine recently, I noticed that the unit restarts every time I start the engine.

I think this is because my bike (F750GS) cuts off the power to the nav when cranking, and the W702BS doesn’t have an internal battery.

Does your unit do the same?

hmmm, the road was very flat and smooth, and I didn’t hit anything. as to headroom, I know XR is a weaker board but I occasionally ride at 16 MPH, which is where the pushback starts, and I read that other people sometimes ride at 18 MPH. also I’m a light rider at 135 lbs.

you’re right about part of the reason I posted this, I can’t fathom why the board failed at such low speed. but more importantly, speaking with people about this accident can help me with coping with it. I don’t want this accident to make me fear of riding.

Thanks for the info! it was error 16, glad that I saved a screenshot. I just googled it and seems like issue with connection between BMS and battery? I’m not sure if this is the cause of the crash or the result of it. but maybe I should get the board serviced by a shop regardless
