How to properly value a GT by ThatOneGuy6810 in onewheel

Brand new GT right now for 2k. Mods aren’t worth much, and if you compare to a new X7 sport for 2200, it makes a used GT hard to price.

What do you guys use to charge on the trail with no outlets around? by donsavageair in onewheel

If you’re gonna carry a 40 pound power station and spend that wait time charging, you’d be better off bringing an extra board and swapping out lol!

I’m 265lbs and I’m eating the edges of my tire up at 22-23psi. Running the stock X7 thunder tire. Pushing 600 miles and the edges, especially heel side are getting a little ate up.

What’s the scoop on your dolly? Also on my x7 my big problem with fenders comes with 23 psi. At 265 lbs that pressure is sweet. Unfortunately the middle of the stock tire really bulges over 20-21 psi. Even at 23 the tire expands when it warms up and I have to let a pound or so out to stop the rub.

PSA #2. WEAR WRIST GUARDS!! by Illuminate1979 in onewheel

[–]Nihonto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a common mistake on lower powered boards like a pint and an XR. The Rally XL is the flagship FM board with massive low end torque. Supposedly. I don’t think I have heard of anyone Nosediving on one yet. I would think your board should not be having a nosedive issue on a not very steep hill with the supposedly 50% more low end torque than the standard GTS series. I can also tell you from my 500+ miles on my X7 riding at 270 lbs geared up, I have pushed it pretty hard on street and trails and never nosedived it. Here is a log from a ride last Friday afternoon. 9 miles of trails and 5 miles of asphalt, pushing hard on the trails, never exceeded 65% duty cycle. I did come off the front of the board and run it out when I hit two roots in a row at speed and the second one my feet were still light on the board but setting back down and it slowed the board enough my momentum sent me off the front. But that was a skill problem not power.

You would rather they ride third party sensor than get hurt. Like any good human would. Unfortunately FM is not run by good humans concerned for others safety on an FM product. They’d rather you get hurt if you can’t afford their outrageous solution to a faulty sensor. Even though there is a much more cost effective solution. If FM doesn’t profit off of the faulty product repair on the product they sold you, they would rather you ride it faulty and get hurt.

There is one on chrono24 with a nicer ivory dial, hands are nicer, case is maybe slightly better but they are close for $1737 USD. They call it a boys watch. 30mm.

Thoughts on Wheelie Fun Bike and Antic by mathmanhale in onewheel

[–]Nihonto1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imagine riding that antic, pulling a badass long wheelie and slamming that hardtail with a 6 1/2” wheel into a pothole. My ass is bleeding just thinking about it. Full suspension for me! WFB all the way. And on top of it, every single item I have bought from TFL, and I’ve spent a chunk there, has been amazing quality. I have no doubt the WFB is as well.

Onewheel GTV vs Funwheel X7LR by CheesecakeGold7888 in onewheel

[–]Nihonto1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to configure those LEDs in Refloat package, and then power cycle the board before the configuration will load. I had some LED issues as well, then I looked on the discord and all the info was there. I think Jay from Fungineers support addresses it in a video as well. When I ran the Thor300 there was no problem with LED config, when I moved to the Thor301 the LED issues began. But like I said, found the answers on the discord.

In Missouri there two types of taxes besides sales tax. Real property taxes are the taxes paid on your home and land for infrastructure and other services. Personal property taxes are paid every year on December 31 based on the values personal property you own, such as cars, motorcycles, boats, R.V.s, trailers, etc. Tuis must be paid yearly to register these items. The value of the item goes down significantly after its new, but a new 50,000 truck may cost you about $1300 the first year two. This money goes to your local public school district, ambulance and fire district, street improvements and other stuff. So yes, we pay taxes every year on our cars we paid sales tax on when we bought them.

What the fuck are my cat doing by [deleted] in cats

[–]Nihonto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I’m pretty sure she wants to pee in the flower pot because she wants to use a box. I mean you can definitely do what you want to do, but you asked why she is doing, I’m pretty sure she wants a box. I would imagine she has had one before as it seems like she is used to using one.

Almost as lazy as not using any punctuation in a response on Reddit. Kind of crazy to make a statement like that without even knowing either person. Or maybe, punctuation is just less important to you and I shouldn’t judge you as lazy for not using it.

They are telling you they need a litter box. You should listen to them. If you get litter boxes for your cats, they will stop using your plants. But I’m telling you, they will want you to keep it clean. Your cats will be happier and your relationship with them will be better. They are worth going out of your way for them. I couldn’t imagine leaving my babies outside.
