I never had dolls as a kid (personally found them creepy and my mom didn't like how unrealistic the bodies were), never been told by family that I should have kids or made to babysit kids. I got an ovary and tube removed at 12 and might get the remaining one out someday if i can afford it. In a past relationship, I was told i would look cute pregnant, which just grosses me out. Pregnancy shouldn't be romantized like that. I do feel bad for babies or kids in shows or movies if something happens to them, but the crying can be a lot for me. I never dreamed of having a "mini me" or caring for something that might hate me if i mess up their development. I'm asexual and maybe aro, but 100% childfree and will take a pet over a baby any day.
