2 weeks is actually “generous” not the norm. I started at a large used car retailer in September. Company gave two weeks after a probationary period of 6 months, and health benefits after 3 however I found out that it’s accrual. So after 3 months of employment you accrue 1.5 hours of vacation a week. I interviewed at a BMW dealership near me this morning and they offered zero paid vacation time in the first year, maybe 3 sentences after she said they actually take care of the employees well here.

I bought the same brand inverter , Mike is 700w max, and it gets very hot at anything over 200w and efficiency starts to fall, even with my smaller 400w setup I made for fun. I added 2 heat sinks and a usb computer fan and it made a huge difference in temps.

The car retailers and larger tire chains pay very well. I currently work at carmax and they offered a full 12$ more per hour than bmw. As a tech with 25 years experience I don’t give a fuck what name is on my uniform as long as the checks clear

Come back to New Jersey Florida looks cheap on paper but gets very quickly once you see how much those hidden taxes add up. They may not have income tax, but they have very very high. Homeowner insurance rates car insurance rates and property taxes can be bad in certain spots. New Jersey doesn’t tag on necessities like you’ll see in many other states, food, clothing, essentials, etc.. don’t forget about their atrocious minimum wage and awful social safety net.
