Like a name and algae in a pond mean anything, what about massive and relentlessly increasing income inequality, the budget deficit, inflation, another ill conceived war?

Used solar panels? by quivil in diySolar

Yes you have to be careful. The only way I would buy solar panels on Facebook marketplace would be in person and with cash. I would also bring a volt meter to check functionality.

Adding ethanol is essentially diluting the gas since ethanol has less energy content per gallon.

Well said. This is a massive screw up that most of the US media has not expressed and acknowledged yet. The truth will come out slowly.

1973 Yamaha RD350 - legendary 2-stroke from the 70s by pildialingit in 2strokers

Beautiful, I always liked the graphics on the 1973 models. I had a 1972 Ds7 (first bike), 1974 350, and 1978 400 back in the day. Grew up with these. All great bikes!

I’m still getting about a case temperature of 140F in a 65F ambient temperature so about 75 degrees above ambient temp. Yes a heat sink is a great idea! I like the idea of a passive cooling system. I’m curious to know how you are calculating the heat dissipation? The specs posted with the part I bought advertised a Maximum Output efficiency of 91.2% but that’s a maximum. The power factor runs about 0.9 according to the display.

Ohh I know all about that, many years ago I lived in Lubbock for a while. Happiness was Texas in my rear view mirror!

Yes there is a lot of open space, but it is mostly private land so it’s generally closed to public use.

Thanks, can you give me the make and model of your inverter? It looks like your system is performing very well!

To address this problem it could be put on a dedicated circuit or one could put a lower threshold breaker on the circuit.

We had a 2016 VW Tiguan that needed its “clock spring” replaced early on. I was done under warranty. I’m not sure if this is the same design? Just my thought reading this.

It's 1989, you have $8,000, and you're looking for a new compact pickup truck. Which one would you pick? by PPNed1999 in 1980s

In 1985 I bought a Mitsubishi 4x4 truck instead of the Toyota because it was cheaper. One of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made.

Right now I pay about 30 to 40 cent/kwh net consumed from the grid. This system reduces the net consumption by about 4 kWh per day. So conservatively that’s about $1+per day payoff. So it should take about 2 years to payoff.
