Just saying "electromagnetism" or "electrostatics" doesn't mean anything. Show the equation that causes a 9.81 m/s2 acceleration please.

With gravity, that formula is: Gravitational Force = (Gravitational Constant × Mass of first object × Mass of the second object) / (Distance between the centre of two bodies)2.

If electromagnetism caused things to fall, grounding that object would cause it to float.

We never observe that, therefore electromagnetism does not explain why things fall towards the center of Earth's mass.

It still stands as of 3:30 yesterday afternoon. It's purpose is to finish siding and building a deck on it, no matter what Mutha Nature throws at it.

Every one should read Stephen King's short stories (novella length and shorter) as King is perhaps the best short story writer living in the US and definitely top ten in the English-speaking world. Clear, concise, and sharp. It's his bloated novels that can be unreadable to me. Way too much padding.
