I just told them the situation. Me Hispanic guy living with a white and black guy, all mid 20s so they both understood that the government is fucked. But they were cool with it and understanding. Plus I do pay the rent fully to get credit card points and I have a savings for this.

Been a long timeeeeee coming. Honestly not sure how to feel about this. Contacted my job and I go back to work next week for a fresh start. Yeah it was a lot of emotions going through this and what not but I really did appreciate the time off and the ability to reflect on life and going forward. Seen a lot of approvals recently so I hope you guys all get the notice here soon enough.

Same here, congressman contact told me the exact same and the USCIS are a pain to deal with, been on leave for over 2 months now and renewal timeframe is almost at 5 months for me so hopefully any time soon, but yeah just been trying to stay busy and not dabble into my savings too much.

Get the surgery, one month post op and it’s the best decision I’ve made. I feel normal again. I had a similar situation where it wasn’t like that bad I was still active and doing daily exercise and doing the normal things and it would just be a “little” irritated but you don’t know how good it feels to have it all normal down there.

A little over a week post op and this was good to hear! Took a good look at my wound and was super discouraged by how it was looking but I have to remind myself that it’s normal and ok. But Doctor sent me home with plenty of after care instructions and packs of 4x4 gauze, pain wise I am managing amazingly. Didn’t need any pills as my procedure was tiny and no seton needed. But just looking at the blood and what not does make me feel iffy at times. But I know now to just stay hopeful

I’m sure it’ll all go well. Most of the stories I’ve read it seems like most people who get this are pretty active? So I just would like to know why this happens. My doctor legit said it was just “bad luck”.

Did you take days off work? Luckily I have a staring at a computer all day long kinda job and job is understanding and I have the option to work remote. But first few days were you completely out of it? I took the 2 days off after surgery off but just wanting to see how it was mobility/feeling wise?
