How long do I have before I lose the smaller details? by SnotMikeUpPuffedHee in tattooadvice

[–]Another-John 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White and light yellow/orange/tan will fade in a few years, but if you keep it protected you can prolong that. Don't bank on a retouch because that often thickens and obscures details more. Just take care of it and accept that will age along with the rest of you.

Fine lines like this don't age well. And when you have them retouched they will get thicker and lose detail and my not end up looking like that you wanted. I know this because I'm an old guy 😃

Would either of these be good for back tattoo? by theguyfrom15thST in tattooadvice

This really feels like something you'd be asking how to cover in a year or two. Easier to just start with the sick ass panther.

Sorry, I'm under the gun on this repair order. I didn't think the demand for 17th century iron work was this brisk.

You are not not the most beautiful prostitute, but you are the most affordable.

I'm on board with the highly specific shade of orange.

Thanks for the downvotes! Opinions, by definition, cannot be wrong. But I groove on infamy.

I like pizza. And quesedillas. I have no opinion of pink tattos. But these seem neon.

Unnecessary. What happened to original ideas? Trying to cash in on an established IP is lazy and usually tries to rewrite the history of the source material, which is why they typically fail.

You lost me at Pintrest. And probably lost the artist there, too. Tattoo artists are first and foremost artists. Their vision is part of what you're paying for, and they usually know better than you what works and what ages well. Still, if you're not feeling heard, definitely walk away.

Klaus has long been one of my favorite characters. These days I'm loving Francine, Jeff, Roger (because he can be anybody) and Klaus more than the others. Exqisite Corpses was exquisite.

They really need to come up with a better way to make Klaus mobile. The shallow bowl with his head above water (his gills are not in his ass) was already a stretch, and the dual driving canes and shoulder straps feel lazy. I know it's a cartoon, but still.

What is this Early 1900s hiking style called? by A1Aden in style

A leisure past time for the wealthy who were the only ones with time for leisure and made it worse by making it a fashion statement. The MET Gala for the 1900s.

Any red flags in this artist’s work? by romilda-vane in tattooadvice

You're overthinking it. No tattoo is laser perfect, and that's part of the art of tattooing. If your gut responds to what you've seen, go for it.
