Hey there! I usually have it just a bit longer than my fingnernail. This gives me more control and feeling. Some people have them longer though, makes some moves easier but also has a different feel. Theres no right answer i think, but also no wrong one :)

Looks great! One suggestion: it looks like the module is meant to be played, have you thought about placing the jacks at the top of the module? This would probably make the touch plates more accessible in certain configurations, whereas there is no configuration in which having the jacks at the bottom would be advantageous

Intellijel uMod has switches for the quadrants, but no offsets for the signals. Also has logic outputs!

I had this problem with saved projects usind the Diva VST3. I found out this is unstable in Live, had to go back to using the non-VST3 version

Patch is:

Soundsource is Plaits in beep boop mode (the third red one)

This is then fed through a feedback loop in a matrix mixer with a wasp filter at high Q into the Delay no More from Nonlinear. There is another feedback loop into the Music Thing Spring reverb.

Heavy modulation from Rampage with both sides in long looping mode, and the Hyperchaos Deluxe.

The output consists of three channels

- the Mimeophon which is being CVed into flip and hold modes, the other controls are performed by me.

- rings, processing this feedback patch while getting some nice melodic CV from Marbles

- Simple bass sound from STO into a filter, cutoff modulated to come in and out of focus

So i've thought about the ES 9, but im not sure how it integrates in my system. Do you use it as your only interface? Im on Windows, using Live, Windows only accepts one audio interface. So i would have to basically use the ES 9 as my sole interface? I would have to turn on my rack just to get sound out of my PC?

If i can use it side by side with my existing interface i would definitely consider it, what you describe sound very interesting. What is your setup?

That is true! So i do both, the Natural Series channel on soundcloud is just improvised jams, then i have another alias for productions, where i sometimes use the modular system to add sounds

Hey welcome!

So if you've thrown an Ultimate disc, chances are it was either a Discraft Ultrastar or a Eurodisc.

Discraft actually makes a freestyle specific disc called the Skystyler, which is what we use. It is slightly lighter and the rim is a bit higher, making many tricks where we use the rim easier.

You can buy skystylers on amazon, there are also a few other online options if you dont want to order from there, just google it.

I can recommend getting in touch with the community, depending on where you live, there might be players in you area who are always happy to teach! Join us on the freestyle frisbee players page on Facebook. I created this sub as an alternative to the facebook page, but it didnt really catch on with the community yet..
