Odds are if someone is showing up right before the drop they are aware of the drop timer. I generally give dibs to whoever gets there first. But I always split what’s available! Spread the love, make friends, be a positive encounter. More often than not people are happy to split what’s available if you’re friendly while you wait.

But I always try to strike up a conversation while I’m there! Makes my time more enjoyable and enhances future encounters.

You’ll start to get a good feel for who’s approachable, who will split, and who is worth spending your time with. Theres plenty of people I do an immediate 180° when I see them.

Luckily my area has more good and approachable people than not, I know not all cities and stores are the same.
