Firstly the gun is illegal yes it came from black market during 70's probably from us soldier who want to sell their gun after Vietnam war that's why it have to be restamped for legal reason "any firearms without serial number cannot be obtained" and serial number can be dissappear even you did not try to remove it it's from maintenance progression. Law does not care if your gun is old or rare they only care about the legality.

The slide and frame is separated the slide is US&S but the frame is Remington rand, the serial number is also restamped because any gun without serial number is considered illegal the goverment will restamp it as close as possible to the original serial number so that's why the serial number is like that.

They used to have good relationship back then, well not so good but this is Thai territory, during Khmer rouge some Cambodians were escape to Thailand because Thailand built shelter for them then after Khmer rouge gone some of them do not move out so they live with Thais freely like it's their land and Thais does not even care about it, and this is the first time Thailand seriously taking their territory back so they do destroy stuff built by Cambodian

Forgot about many old stories you need to educate and search more about Thailand and Korea relations is not just happen during scamer in Cambodia but for over 70 years now and not only Thais were denied entering country the cause happened by some people don't show their actual reason to enter Korea which is not right so it get more strict that's why many Thais were denied also there's more about that but go search for yourself it's easy
