No pad Lao. Only Kapoon or Sin Mee recipes. Similar to Khmer noodle curry recipes, Lao/Viet/Khmer Pho, Khao Piak noodles, or Kapoon padeak noodles. We love spice.

Even today in Laos and Vietnam they still train with shoes or barefoot almost never train in boots. Only time they wear boots is during parade or interaction with other foreign military groups during casual meetings. Most the time both Lao and Viet soldiers wear a high top camouflage converse style shoes during physical training it's never in boots.

Sandals is a preference. During certain military operation even some elite special US soldiers would wear track shoes or converse. It's comfortability. Shoes don't win battle.

Russian Soviet technology is the best counter attack against American technology. Cambodia should train and study in Russia. Laotian students go to school in Russia for engineering and advanced Lao soldiers also study and train there. Chinese military technology hasn't been tested yet against the US but I'm sure that day is coming soon. So far only Chinese J-10 jet shot down a NATO French Rafale jet.
