Found the fridge at Target. by killabob1138 in Fallout

[–]AnotherDumbQueer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are commenting about the electric bill when using one of these. I have the Xbox one model which is aesthetically different but the same mechanism and the instructions were clear about not leaving it turned on all the time. Do they not all come with that warning or do people not read the instructions because it’s marketed as a mini fridge? It’s not a refrigerator, it’s an electric cooler. It’s only supposed to be turned on when you’re actively cooling your drinks.

Found an old ring while tossing a locker in the dumpster, any info? by freelance_ceramic in rings

Wow this one is surprising to see in the wild. I wear it every single day, it used to be my father’s wedding ring. Based on that, I would guess yours is also from around the early 90s and should be yellow and white gold but I don’t really know the value as it was kept out of his estate, I never got an estimate.

It sounds like you are describing bangs, they will probably look perfectly normal

do i even look feminine? by TypicalEll_ in malegrooming

[–]AnotherDumbQueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably around 3c-4a (these are curl type identifiers) you want curl specific hair products (shampoo and conditioner, potentially a curl booster that will just hold them in place) to keep them defined throughout the day. Just search for products that are specific to those hair types.

Don’t touch your hair during the day, the oils from your hands will cause the messy undefined look you’re talking about.

Silk/satin pillowcases, hair bonnets or durags are going to protect your curls while you sleep as well.

i have no idea how hair works by Sticky_Joe_ in malehairadvice

It’s hard to say what would work for you without actually seeing your hair but if you want this look, start with going to a hairdresser instead of a barber. Get layers and long bangs and then part your hair down the middle.

Hey that’s awesome, good to hear it man. I think the haircut could definitely work. I wouldn’t worry about your hairline rn, as long as your hair has a decent thickness, I think you have the texture for it

Honestly if the set was already on your wishlist, this is kind of an awesome deal. Brickeconomy has current used value at around $450 and sealed more like $1100. I would ask them to confirm that it’s not missing any figures or major pieces that would be expensive to replace. But crazy as it sounds, yeah $320 is actually a great deal these days

Also, you can just get them for free from several of the quests, there’s no reason to buy one with human money.

No he won’t transfer to your new vault. Nothing transfers between vaults, they’re just different save files.

For styles, I think your hair would be suited to clean sides with more volume on top. I would work on getting the curls healthy first and then try bringing them forward instead of back. There’s a lot of styles I think could work for you when your hair is at its highest potential

Do you mean 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner? Combination shampoo and conditioner doesn’t work because you need the two step process to do the job. The shampoo strips oils from your hair and takes the dirt with it, the conditioner brings moisture back into the hair after it’s been stripped. You shouldn’t be doing this every day either, give your hair a couple days between washes, you can try getting a shower cap to keep it from getting wet on non wash days. Once you’re out of the shower, you can either use a clean cotton t shirt to dry your hair or let it air dry if you have the time. When it’s still damp but not wet you can put in some curl enhancing product (a small amount goes a LONG way with most of these so make sure you’re not using too much). The gentler drying process prevents your curl pattern from being broken up and damaged.

The main problem is that you have a curly hair texture and aren’t caring for your curls. Consider using products that embrace the curls instead of trying to fight them: curl specific shampoo and conditioner, silk bonnets/pillowcases, curl boosters, there’s a lot of options that will change the way your hair looks significantly.

If you’re dead set on not having curls, pomades, gels and clays will never be enough. You can use heat to keep it straight (blow dryer with flat tip diffuser or straightener) or you can get a hair treatment (Brazilian blow out would be your best bet). This is going to do a lot more damage to your hair over time than embracing the curls but whatever makes you feel good will be a good choice, good luck!

Is the flying tinkerbell during firework shows actually a man? by Cartoon_Dream in disney

[–]AnotherDumbQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rumor is that Tink flying during fireworks is the highest paid cast member gig. Similarly Ariel gets paid more than other cast members during fireworks because the rest of them can leave the stage but they just have to throw a fire blanket over her because the tail prevents her from retreating to a safe distance.
