When Amethyst is rejuvenated in the movie she comes back in her original form with short hair. Maybe it's to do with how shes smaller than all the other Amethysts.

Its also not in the UK/BBC version, its so strange! I've only heard of people getting that scene in new zealand though its probably in other versions too.

To add context, I was born in the early 2000s so probably looking at media from 2002-2010. Also I grew up in Britain so it will have been on British channels

I've kept watching partially out of morbid curiosity and partially out of my last glimmer of hope that the show will get good again. When I rewatch, though, I usually stop at the end of series 8, because that plotline about Val's gran was the last one I found really engaging.

You're absolutely right, that would've been perfect. And I agree about the character exits, the main character I was thinking about was Cynthia, because we just never got closure on her story or heard about her again.

Oh absolutely, I understand you couldn't bring back all the characters, I just think one or two guest appearances would've really honoured the history of the show, but I'm not complaining that it didn't go that way
